Daily Discipline

Privacy policy

Last updated 12 August 2026

The short version

Daily Discipline stores what it needs to show your progress and nothing else. Your routines, history and streaks belong to your account, are never shown to other users, and are never sold or used for advertising. You can export everything or delete the account from inside the app, without asking anyone.

What is stored

Your account details (email, display name, optional avatar, time zone, preferences); your routines and their schedules; the day-by-day record of what you completed, including sessions and daily summaries; derived progress such as streaks, achievements and goals; and your notification settings, including a device push token when reminders are enabled.

What is never collected

Contacts, precise location, microphone, camera roll beyond an avatar you choose, health APIs, and browsing history. Routine names, notes and any free text you write are never used for advertising or profiling, and never leave your account except in an export you ask for.

Where it is stored

On your device, and in the app’s Supabase project, hosted in the European Union. Rows are protected by row-level security: the database itself enforces that a request can only reach the signed-in account’s own rows.

Analytics

Product analytics are opt-in and off until you turn them on in Profile → Preferences. When on, they record which features are used and whether they worked — never routine names, note text, or anything you typed. Turning them off stops collection immediately.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on the device. When push is enabled, a device token is stored so the server can deliver a reminder while the app is closed. Revoking notification permission, or signing out, retires that token.

Your data, your call

Profile → Export data produces a complete archive of your account. Profile → Delete account removes the account and its rows; the deletion is permanent and is not a hidden archive. Both are reachable in two taps from Profile and neither requires contacting support. What deletion removes, step by step.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not knowingly created for them.

Changes

Material changes to this policy ship with an app update, and the in-app copy always shows the version you are running.
